Collossal Gloss for Not A Lot o’ Coin

I’m a lipgloss fanatic. An addict, if you will. At all times, I have on me no less than 15 tubes of lipgloss. I have a large crystal cube on my makeup dresser that contains nothing but lipgloss…glorious! And I’m always open to a new lipgloss. Who isn’t, right?
But these days in particular, I don’t wanna break the bank(s) — they’re broke enough as it is. So instead of going all out on an old favorite, Stila’s Lip Glaze, I opted for a bargain basement substitute, e.l.f.’s Hypershine Lipgloss. At only $1 (yep, I said ONE dollar), these Stila stand-in’s are a perfect guilty pleasure that you don’t have to feel guilty about.
Smooth, shiny and not-too sticky, e.l.f.’s Hypershine lasts nicely and imparts a nice stain of color in a medium-to-high gloss factor. Plus, it smells and tastes like cotton candy…yummy!
My favorite colors (these days…I change my mind like the wind blows) are Fairy, a sheer almost-clear gloss with a hint of white shimmer, and Sugar Plum, a lovely lavender-plum that looks great on it’s own or layered over your favorite nude or wine-colored lipstick.
How do e.l.f.’s Hypershine Gloss sticks measure up to Stila’s Lip Glazes? Readers of People Magazine say “Quite well, thank you!” And, as Achelle aptly states, “If the product rocks, especially in the category of makeup, why not save money, can you really see a difference!?” Too true, My Dear.
So there you have it. $1 makeup that actually stands up to the big boys…ehem, girls…of the makeup world. So don’t blush, instead stay flush. Happy glossing, Lovelies!

I think we were meant to be best friends. I too am a lip gloss addict, and always have numerous tubes in my purse. In fact, at work I lay all of my tubes out on my desk, and use a different one each time I feel the need for a gloss touch-up!
By the way, Costco has packs of Stila’s Lip Glaze. Two tubes come in each pack. I can’t remember how much it is – maybe $12?

$12 for Stila Lip Glaze? We need to spread the word about this…of course, maybe everyone (except me) already knows. And yes, you and I are cut from the same cloth. I, too, have an array of glosses I keep at my desk!!
